Milford on Sea Conservation Volunteers is a group of people dedicated to conserving and improving the wildlife and environment within the Milford on Sea and Keyhaven parish.

Nature Walks

Walks are arranged during the last week of the month where possible. Anyone is welcome, including non-members and we particularly welcome new members.

Keyhaven Creeks and Saltmarsh Boat Trips

Boat trips led by bird expert Keith Metcalf, are arranged regularly around Keyhaven creeks and saltmarsh, enabling unrivalled views of the local and migrant birds visiting at the time. Details of current trips can be found on the Events page.

What we do

MCV volunteers have regular tasks groups for logging, scrub clearance Balsam pulling and such like. Having created a Biodiversity Action Plan in 2015 we carry out these actions when we have the resources and expertise. We promote environmental improvements where we can. More details

Bird Observatory Key Fobs

Logs For Sale

Our logging team work with the Parish Council to clear fallen trees from the Pleasure Grounds. The resulting timber is cut into logs, split and allowed to dry until ready for burning.

We can also collect your timber. If you have any felled trees or branches suitable for burning, we can collect them.
